The turquoise color is so soft and the white walls very bright, a very nice unique piece!
Beautiful birdhouse or decorative nesting box in stoneware grog and glazed in bright white and turquoise blue roof, smoked for the black parts. The birds will be able to settle there easily with all these small details. On the back you will find two holes to pass a wire to hang it on the outside wall of your house. You also have the possibility to put it simply but put it well high to avoid predators (cats). A big hole will allow in time to clean the interior just in case?
You can put an electric garland inside if you want to make a decoration for your interior.
The cracks and the matte black color are obtained thanks to a raku firing, an ancient Japanese technique dating back to the 15th century that the Japanese used for the tea ceremony (see details in the "ABOUT" tab). The raku technique makes the piece unique.
All my pieces are handmade in France, made with love in my ceramic workshop Le raku de Sylvie which is located in the Atlantic Pyrenees near Pau.
