A truly original vase with its blue-green Ginkgo leaves, gold highlights and intense black. Large, elegant and perfectly watertight, you'll be able to place your pretty bouquets of fresh flowers, dried flowers or artificial arrangements. Its elegance will stand out when placed in the center of a table. Handcrafted entirely by hand.
Raku vase in chamotte clay with a shiny bleu/green and golden highlights glaze and smoky black for the darker parts. Perfectly sealed, you can use for fresh flowers and this piece's height and weight allow for long stems. This vase is very elegant with its elegant and prominent cracks.
The crackled effect and the mat black are achieved using a raku cooking process, an ancient Japanese technique used for tea ceremonies, which dates back to the 15th century. (See details on the "ABOUT" page).
All my pieces are handcrafted in France, made in my ceramic workshop Le raku de Sylvie which is located in the Atlantic Pyrenees near Pau. As raku is porous, the waterproof sealing was carried out with a special product. Despite all the attention that I bring to it, it is desirable to do a test on a non-fragile surface.
