This beautiful bowl is a stunning shade of turquoise and is finely crafted. It will look great on a piece of furniture or a coffee table to decorate your home. This unique piece is entirely handcrafted.
Ceramic raku cutting board with white stoneware, glazed in a green/turquoise finish, to be placed naturally on a countertop. With a diameter of 38 cm, it can be used in many ways. The light gives it its green to turquoise reflections and its cracking is really fine. Remember that raku is a porous clay.
The cracks are obtained thanks to a raku firing, an ancient Japanese technique dating back to the 15th century that the Japanese used for the tea ceremony. (See the details in the tab: ABOUT)
All of my pieces are handmade and crafted with love in my Le Raku de Sylvie ceramics workshop, located in the Pyrénées Atlantiques, between Pau and Tarbes.
Since raku is porous, it is not recommended for use with liquids.
