Beautiful cat box in chamotte stoneware, fully glazed in glossy white with smoky black parts.
Suitable for a cat funeral urn.
The cracks and matte-black color are achieved by raku firing, an ancient Japanese technique dating back to the 15th century and used by the Japanese for tea ceremonies (see “ABOUT US” for details). The raku firing technique makes each piece unique.
All my pieces are handmade in France, entirely by hand and with love, in my ceramic workshop Le raku de Sylvie, located in the Pyrénées Atlantiques between Pau and Tarbes, facing our beautiful Pyrenean mountains.
