3 Fishes in Raku Ceramic

 3 raku ceramic fish, in shiny white glazed grog and smoked black parts. The fish are mounted (glued) on stainless steel rods and implanted on a smoked ceramic support.

The cracks and matte black color are obtained by raku firing, an ancient Japanese technique dating back to the 15th century and used for tea ceremonial (see details in the “ABOUT US” tab).

All my pieces are handmade in France, with love, in my ceramic workshop “Le raku de Sylvie” located in the Pyrénées Atlantiques between Pau and Tarbes, facing our beautiful Pyrenean mountains.
