Beautiful large raku box bamboo shape, white and black with an easy opening and wide enough to put your secrets, jewelry or simply in vide pocket, to you see! This box has been entirely handmade in a zen attitude. Decorative and original you will have a unique piece.
Large (almost 35 cm long) bamboo-shaped raku box in white grog stoneware, glazed in white and smoked in the black parts. Its lids are discreet but allow an easy opening. Size of opening: 10cm x 10cm. Box with two distinct compartments. Its feet are equipped with skids to protect your furniture.
This creation is entirely handmade so that each lid will have its place and its meaning.
The cracks and the matte black color are obtained thanks to a raku firing, an ancient Japanese technique that dates back to the 15th century that the Japanese practiced for the tea ceremony (see details in the tab "ABOUT").
All my pieces are made in France, entirely by hand in my ceramic workshop "Le raku de Sylvie" which is located in the Atlantic Pyrenees between Pau and Tarbes, facing the Pyrenees (my little paradise)
