A beautiful, soft, round box in blue/turquoise and black with an easy-to-open, discreet lid. Use it to store your secrets, jewelry, or simply as a trinket box—it's up to you! This box was made entirely by hand in a Zen spirit. Decorative and original, you will have a unique piece.
Round box made of white chamotte stoneware, glazed blue and smoked for the black parts. Its lid is so discreet that it is almost unnoticeable.
This creation is made entirely by hand and its lid fits like lace.
The crackles and matte black color are achieved through raku firing, an ancient Japanese technique dating back to the 15th century that the Japanese used for tea ceremonies. (See details in the “ABOUT” tab).
All my pieces are French artisanal creations, made entirely by hand in my ceramics workshop “Le raku de Sylvie,” located in the Atlantic Pyrenees between Pau and Tarbes, facing the Pyrenees (my little paradise).
