Great original sculpture with this octopus from elsewhere. I like its reflections and its nice look. Here is a beautiful decorative object with a superb crackling and smoking well pronounced Raku. A unique piece made entirely by hand with good energy and a lot of love. You will have the choice to put it directly on your furniture or to use its foot to give it height depending on its location.

Decorative sculpture made of raku ceramics, white glazed stoneware, to be placed naturally on a piece of furniture either with its foot or without. You have the choice.
The foot is a base of raku clay worked to let appear the small pebbles (chamotte) and glazed white. The stem is a steel rod. The diameter of the foot is 10 cm
The cracks are obtained thanks to a raku firing, an ancient Japanese technique that dates back to the 15th century that the Japanese practiced for the tea ceremony (see the detail in the tab: ABOUT)
All my pieces are handmade in France, made with love, in my ceramic workshop Le raku de Sylvie which is located in the Atlantic Pyrenees between Pau and Tarbes, my little corner of paradise.
